Shop Asian Bridal Dresses from Home

Asian bridal dresses are usually chosen over a round of shop visits; with us, the whole process happens from home. We have no walk-in showroom: you pick a design here, our team asks for your full measurements after you order, and the outfit is embroidered and stitched in our own workshops in Pakistan, with progress photos and close-up videos on request while it is made. The range runs from lehenga cholis and long shirts over lehengas to ghararas, gowns and sarees, in bridal reds, ivory and pastels.

What a bridal shop visit does, done from home

A fitting answers three questions: will it fit, what does the work look like close up, and can it be changed. Fit comes from your measurements. Order Custom Size and the outfit is stitched exactly to the measurements our team collects after you order, or choose a standard size from our bridal size guide, taking the larger size if you are between two. For the work, ask on WhatsApp for progress photos and close-up videos during production, so you see the embroidery close up before your outfit is finished. Another colour, fuller sleeves or a higher neckline can be requested under Full Custom Design before you order; anything that adds fabric, embroidery or labour is priced for your approval first.

White and ivory Asian wedding dresses

A white Asian wedding dress comes in more than one white: pure white, ivory, off-white and cream. Silver and antique silver keep the look cool, while gold, rose gold and copper warm it. Shapes run from gowns and long pishwas over a lehenga to ghararas and lehenga cholis, with full-sleeved designs and boat, round or high necklines for a covered ceremony. White is a natural choice for the nikkah, and our white Nikkah designs gather them for that day. For the baraat, red, deep red and maroon carry gold and antique-gold work.

Pakistani, Indian or Punjabi: narrowing the search

In the UK, “Asian bridal” means South Asian, and the word covers several traditions. If your family dresses the Pakistani way, our Pakistani bridal collection is arranged around each wedding function. A red lehenga choli with a short blouse is the look many Indian brides choose; see our Indian bridal outfits. For a kameez over a gharara or sharara at a Punjabi wedding, compare the Punjabi bridal suit styles. Full sleeves, high necks and hijab-friendly cuts are in our Islamic wedding dresses; for the groom, see our sherwani range.

Ordering from the UK or Europe

Bridal delivery to UK addresses counts calendar days from the day after you order and covers both stitching and shipping:

  • Normal Delivery: up to 3 months, free
  • Rush Delivery: up to 30 calendar days, £59
  • Super Rush Delivery: up to 14 calendar days, £199

Import charges are normally prepaid by us; if a courier ever asks you for customs, duty or tax, send us the receipt and we refund the verified amount. A bridal order cancelled within 24 hours is refunded in full; after that, before dispatch, 35% of the amount paid is deducted. Addresses elsewhere in Europe get the same delivery times, priced in pounds sterling, with the delivery charge shown at checkout. Full terms: our UK and European delivery terms.

Asian bridal questions

Can I try a dress on before I order?

No. Shadi Dress sells online only and has no walk-in showroom, so there is no sample to try on. The order replaces the fitting room: every outfit is stitched after you order, in a standard size or to your own measurements, and while it is being made you can ask for progress photos and close-up videos of the embroidery.

Do you make East Asian wedding dresses?

No. We use “Asian” the way it is used in the UK, for South Asian bridal wear: the lehengas, ghararas, sarees and gowns worn at Pakistani, Indian and other South Asian weddings. We do not make qipaos, hanboks or other East Asian wedding styles. Every bridal outfit is embroidered and stitched in our own workshops in Pakistan.

How far ahead should I order?

Count back from your first function. Normal Delivery takes up to 3 months from the day after you order, so ordering at least three months ahead keeps UK delivery free. Closer than that, Rush Delivery arrives within 30 calendar days and Super Rush Delivery within 14. If you need outfits for several functions, order the earliest one first.
