Pakistani Mehndi Outfits for Brides and Bridesmaids
Pakistani mehndi outfits for the bride and her bridesmaids can share one palette: farshi ghararas, lehengas and angrakha frocks in yellow, mustard and the greens, with softer peach and mint alongside. Sisters can order the same design as bridesmaids, and each piece is stitched in our own workshops once you order, in a standard size or to the measurements you send. The work draws on dabka, zari and sequins, on fabrics such as organza and tissue silk. Start with mehndi lehengas or mehndi ghararas and shararas.

Choosing a mehndi outfit by silhouette
A gharara is fitted to the knee, where a gathered joint opens into a flare; in a farshi gharara that flare runs to the floor, under a shirt that can reach from about 30 inches to the ankle. Lehenga styles pair the full skirt with a short choli or a kurti, or put a long peshwas over it. Angrakha frocks wrap across the bodice and fall long, over a lehenga, slim trousers or a shalwar. If you will sit for henna or dance, compare hem length, flare and embroidery weight before you choose. Compare more cuts among our farshi gharara designs and in the bridal angrakha range.
Yellow, mustard and the greens
Yellow and mustard are the classic colours for the mayun and mehndi. Greens run from mint, pistachio and sage to emerald and bottle green, with orange, peach and nude pink alongside; for a single colour, go straight to yellow mehndi dresses or green mehndi outfits. Embroidery comes in rose gold, silver, gold or multicolour, so two yellows can read warm or cool. The work draws on dabka, zari, nakshi and kora, finished with tassels, latkans or gota lace.
Dressing sisters and bridesmaids
Mehndi designs can be ordered for bridesmaids as well as the bride, so sisters and close friends can wear the bride’s palette, for example the bride in mustard and her sisters in pistachio or sage. Each outfit is made in its wearer’s own size or to her measurements. For guest looks beyond the bridal party, see our Pakistani guest outfits.
Made to your measurements
Nothing is stitched until you order. Choose a standard size using our sizing guide, or Custom Size, stitched exactly to the measurements you send; our team contacts you after ordering to confirm the full set. Changes that add fabric, embroidery or labour are priced and agreed before work starts, and you can ask for progress photos and close-up videos while your bridal outfit is made.
Delivery in the UK and to Europe

The same times apply to other European addresses, priced in pounds sterling, with the delivery charge for your address shown at checkout. Questions about mehndi outfits
How far ahead should I order my mehndi outfit?
Plan from the date of the mehndi itself, which usually comes before the wedding day. Normal Delivery takes up to 3 months. If that is too close, Rush Delivery takes up to 30 calendar days and Super Rush Delivery up to 14, both counted from the day after you order and covering stitching and shipping. An earlier order also leaves time to agree design changes.
What should a guest wear to a mehndi?
Bright colour suits the evening: yellow, mustard, green, orange or peach. If the family has set a colour theme, follow it and keep your embroidery a little lighter than the bride’s. Bridal designs follow the bridal delivery times above, whoever wears them; outfits from our guest range reach UK addresses within up to 18 calendar days for £9.99, free on orders from £200; for other European addresses the charge is shown at checkout.
Can I change the colour or sleeves of a design?
Yes. Bridal designs can be changed, for example to another colour, a different sleeve length or more neckline coverage. Tell us what you want before you order. If the change adds fabric, embroidery or labour, we price it first and only start once you have agreed to the cost.
