A reception gown gives you one line from shoulder to floor, on its own or opening over a lehenga: the biggest change of shape after the baraat. Choose a closed gown, a front-open gown over a lehenga or a long peshwas, finished with or without a trail. For colour, you can move from ivory, white and ice blue to peach, lilac, sea green or deep red; embroidery can use silver, rose-gold or gold over fabrics such as organza, net or tissue silk.
