Blue Pakistani Bridal Frock

£399.00

Powder blue gives this Pakistani bridal frock its colour: a long organza frock cut as a peshwas, an American katan silk lehenga and a matching organza dupatta. Mirror work lights the neckline and drop-shaped motifs line the flare down to the hem; standard sizes stand alongside custom stitching and design changes.

Long peshwas with lehenga in organza and katan silk

Close through the bodice and ample below, the long peshwas is worn over its lehenga, and the outfit has 12 panelled kalis over a cancan. A broad metallic border studded with round mirrors frames the boat neckline, and the same treatment reappears at the cuffs and the waist. Tiny flower-like motifs repeat closely over the bodice and full sleeves. Below the waist, bright circles and narrow vertical lines descend the flare, each line ending in a teardrop, and a deep gold-toned border completes the hem. Widely spaced dots that catch the light and a thin edge of metal mark the matching dupatta. Gota, dabka and salma sitara accompany the mirror work, in silver, antique silver, gold and rose gold. The outfit is silk lined and weighs around 5 kg.

Powder blue and running water

This blue has the chill of water sliding over smooth stone, with grey and a little mint in it, silvering toward aqua in full sun. Fine strokes fall straight down the frock and end in teardrops, the way a stream does at the foot of a carved chute. The eye follows them all the way down. That pull makes the whole length read taller.

Round glints scatter between the strokes like spray. They are larger than the flowers packed over the sleeves, and the jump in scale keeps the lower half moving while the top stays compact and orderly.

At the neckline, the wide frame catches more light than anything else in the outfit. It is where the eye lands first.

Engagement, Nikkah or Reception

With full sleeves, a boat neckline and the dupatta over the head, it takes its place among Nikkah dresses. The mirrors give it enough shine for an Engagement or a Reception, and it also belongs with the blue frocks. It suits a bridesmaid as well. The Aqua Bridal Frock with Lehenga is aqua, with a net top, a sweetheart neckline and a long trail. The choker and jhumkas, both gold-toned, are styling for the photographs only; silver-toned jhumkas with clear stones and a small passa would keep to the palette of the blue.

You stay in control until it ships

Watch it being made

Ask us at any stage and we send photographs or video of your actual outfit — from the first sketch through the embroidery frame to the finished garment. Ask as often as you like on WhatsApp.

A complete video before it ships

Before the parcel is sealed we send you a full video of the finished outfit. If a detail needs adjusting, tell us then and we make the change where it is workable. Nothing leaves us until you have seen it.

Exactly what you see

The photographs and video on this page are of the outfit we make — the same fabrics, the same handwork, the same weight in the hand. A screen can only carry so much: it cannot show how the zardozi catches light as you turn, or how the ghera moves when you walk. That is why we send you a video of your own outfit before it ships, so you judge the real thing rather than a photograph.

Sizing & Measurements

Choose a standard size, or select Customised Size and we stitch to your own measurements at no extra cost.

Your size or measurement details are provided before checkout is completed, which is why production can begin the day after you order. If a measurement is unclear, send it to us on WhatsApp before you submit it and our team will confirm it with you.

Size guide and how to measure

Care

  1. Always put paper between the layers when you fold it away. Kora, dabka and nakshi are metallic wire, and the fabric underneath them is fine. Every time the outfit is opened or folded, a stitch on one layer can catch the layer pressed against it and tear through it. A sheet of tissue or plain paper between the layers keeps the wire work away from the cloth, and it costs nothing. Use plain paper rather than newspaper on pale or ivory fabrics, because newsprint ink can mark them.
  2. Store it folded, not hanging. A heavily worked outfit is heavy, and months on a hanger pull the weight onto the shoulder seams.
  3. Dry clean only. Hand and machine washing damages metallic embroidery. Tell your cleaner the outfit carries zardozi, dabka or similar metallic handwork so it is cleaned by hand rather than by machine.
  4. Keep it away from direct sunlight and damp. Perfume and hairspray go on before the outfit, not after.

Questions About This Outfit

Can the design be customised?

Yes. Most customers ask for the design to be made a little more modest — higher neckline, longer or fuller sleeves, more coverage at the back, a longer shirt. Tell us what you want changed on WhatsApp before you order so the pattern is cut correctly the first time. Colour, embroidery colour, sleeves, neckline and length are all adjustable on most designs.

Will the dress look exactly like the photographs?

It will be very close, and we do not compromise on the embroidery or the fabric. Two honest exceptions: the colour shade can look slightly different because of studio lighting and your screen, and because every customer's height and body type is different, a pattern may need to be adjusted so the design sits correctly on you — on a shorter frame, for example, part of the shirt pattern may have to be re-cut. Ask for the final video before dispatch and you will see the actual garment before it ships.

Can I return or exchange it after delivery?

No. Every outfit is cut and stitched for one customer, so it cannot be resold or swapped for another size. That is exactly why the review happens before dispatch: ask for progress photographs and video at any stage, and for the complete final video before your order ships. An order can still be cancelled before dispatch — the windows and deductions are set out in our return policy.

Is there any extra cost on top of the price shown?

No hidden charges. The price you see is the price of the outfit. The only additions are the ones you choose yourself: Rush or Super Rush delivery, and any paid add-ons such as jewellery. Each is priced clearly before you pay.

Can I get matching jewellery with this outfit?

Yes. Matching earrings, necklace and related pieces are available as paid add-ons on this product — select them before you add the outfit to your basket and they are made and shipped with the same order.

Can I get a matching hijab or an extra dupatta?

Yes. Both are possible. Message us on WhatsApp when you place your order and we will tell you exactly how to arrange it.

Is Rush or Super Rush delivery available for this outfit?

Yes, on bridal and groom wear. The Estimated Delivery Timeline box near the top of this page shows live dates for Free, Rush and Super Rush against today's date, so it is always accurate for your order.
