Nikkah Dresses and Outfits for UK Brides

Plan your Nikkah dress around the ceremony itself: full sleeves, a dupatta that drapes over your head, and a hem with or without a trail are yours to choose. Choose a lehenga choli, a gown, a pishwas over a lehenga or a gharara, in ivory and white, soft pinks, ice blue, greens or deep red, each stitched after you order in a standard size or to your measurements. For ghararas, open our Nikkah ghararas and shararas; for pale shades, our white Nikkah dresses. UK Normal Delivery is free.

Choosing your Nikkah silhouette

Each shape sits differently through a seated ceremony, so pick the one that suits the room and how long you will be sitting.

  • Lehenga choli: a fitted choli over a full skirt cut in 12 or 14 kalis or as a full circle; lehenga kurti and long-shirt versions cover the waist.
  • Gown or maxi: one line from shoulder to floor. An open gown layers that line over a lehenga that shows at the front.
  • Pishwas: a long, flared frock worn over a lehenga, full from the bodice down.
  • Gharara: a kameez over a gharara that is fitted to the knee and flares below; a farshi cut adds length that sweeps the floor.
  • Farshi lehenga: a lehenga whose hem pools on the floor around you.

At home or in a mosque, a design without a trail is the easiest to sit and move in; keep a trail for photographs at a hall. Compare shapes across the wedding in our bridal pishwas range, or see our gowns for the bride.

Simple Nikkah dresses and heavier work

A simpler Nikkah look can come from how the embroidery reads rather than from bare fabric. Tonal, self-colour embroidery stays close to the fabric shade, while antique silver or antique gold gives a softer sheen than bright metal. Choose a medium-embroidered design if you want lighter handwork, and a hem without a trail for a quieter finish.

White, ivory or colour

Pale shades run from pure white and off-white to ivory and cream. Colour runs wide too: baby, dusty and tea pinks; ice, powder and sky blues; mint, sage and bottle green; lilac, peach, gold and silver; and reds from bright red to deep red and maroon. If your Baraat outfit is red, a pale or pastel Nikkah dress keeps the two days distinct in photographs, and the same dress can carry you through the Walima; our dresses for the Walima show the full choice for that day.

Coverage and the dupatta

Necklines range from boat and round to V, sweetheart, square and high, and backs from round and deep to fully closed, so you can match the cut to the ceremony. A 3.5-yard dupatta in organza, chiffon, masuri, net or silk can be draped over the head and shoulders; longer dupattas and a second dupatta are options on some designs. If a design you love shows more than you want, ask before you order: Full Custom Design is open on every bridal design, and anything that adds fabric, embroidery or labour is priced and agreed with you before work starts.

Made to your measurements

Nothing is stitched until you order. Choose a standard size from our UK size chart, or Custom Size, stitched exactly to the measurements you send; our team contacts you after ordering to take the full set. The workshop works in inches, and if you fall between two sizes, choose the larger. While your dress is being made, ask for progress photos and close-up videos. Cutting, embroidery and stitching happen in our own workshops, more than 25 of them across Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. We have made bridal wear since 2013 and sell online only.

Nikkah dress questions

Can I wear a lehenga for my Nikkah?

Yes. Choose a pale or pastel lehenga to keep it apart from a red Baraat look, or a lehenga kurti or long-shirt design if you want the waist covered. To compare lehenga styles for other wedding events, see our bridal lehenga styles.

We are guests at a Nikkah. Do you have outfits for us?

This page is for brides. Guest outfits are in our wedding guest collection, made from branded unstitched fabric bought directly from Pakistani labels. Guest wear takes up to 18 calendar days, with delivery at £9.99, free from £200.

What can the groom wear?

Our wedding sherwanis are also made in our own workshops, in standard sizes S to XL or to his measurements. Bridal and groom orders share the same delivery options, so both outfits can be planned to arrive on the same timeline.

Do you deliver Nikah outfits outside the UK?

Yes. From this site we deliver every product to all European countries, with prices in pounds sterling and the same delivery times as UK orders. The delivery charge for a European address is shown at checkout. Import charges are normally prepaid by us; if a courier ever asks you for customs, duty or tax, send us the receipt and we refund the verified amount.
